Terms of Service

Welcome to Gleyon. By accessing our website at gleyon.com or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use our services.

1. Services

Gleyon provides technology services including but not limited to cloud hosting, managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, web and software development, and domain registration ("Services"). The specific terms applicable to each Service are described in your Service Order, Statement of Work (SOW), or applicable Service Schedule.

2. Account Registration

To access certain Services, you may need to register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Transmit, distribute or store material that violates applicable law or third-party rights
  • Launch cyberattacks, send spam, or conduct distributed denial-of-service attacks
  • Host malware, phishing pages, or illegal content
  • Use excessive resources that negatively impact other customers (shared hosting environments)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Gleyon systems or other customers' data

4. Payment Terms

  • All fees are billed in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Shared Hosting and VPS plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Domain registrations must be renewed by the expiry date to avoid loss
  • Accounts with unpaid invoices beyond 14 days may be suspended
  • All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.)

5. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for managed hosting services. Service credits are issued if we fall below this SLA threshold. See the full Service Level Agreement for details, exclusions, and credit claim procedures.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our services. By uploading content, you grant Gleyon a limited license to store, process, and transmit it solely to provide the Services. All Gleyon software, branding, and documentation remain our exclusive property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gleyon's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a service by providing 30-days written notice. We may suspend or terminate services immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that poses risk to our infrastructure or other customers. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or, where mandatory, by the courts of Bengaluru, India.
